Tools

There are a number of tools that you will need to build your heli. Many you might have around the house (especially if you are already into R/C or electronics), others you will need to get. I'm not telling you to go out and buy everything on this list or that without something on this list you can't build it. I just found out that I used quite a bit of them.

This dial caliper (I got at Home Depot in the US) is a great tool because it measures in inches and millimeters. You will be needing millimeter measurements for your heli. Don't depend on the paper diagrams in the building instructions as they are not quite correct.


Metric Allen Wrenches (1.5mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm)

2mm Tap and Die

Ball-link plyers

Small Screwdriver (philips head and slotted head)

Buggy Wrench

Small table vice
Wire Ties
Soldering Iron
Exacto Knifes
Sandpaper - 400, 600 and maybe 1000 grit
