Swashplate movement with Stock
Swashplate.
When setting up your Eco, this will help you determine if you have
the swashplate operating correctly (or if you have to reverse some
servos).
Orientate yourself behind the heli looking forward.
Left Aileron - From center, moving the Aileron stick left, should
lower the left side of the swashplate.
Right Aileron - From center, moving the Aileron stick right, should
lower the right side of the swashplate.
Elevator - From center, moving the elevator stick up, tilts the
swashplate forward. Moving the stick down from center pulls the
swashplate back.
Collective - from center stick, the swashplate is level and all
three servos hold the swashplate at 17mm. The swashpate should
lower when lowering the stick. Make sure you don't have more
(or is that less?) then -1 degree of pitch though. Same with
collective stick up. The swashplate should move up. Maximum
positive pitch should not exceed 10 degrees. When you set up the
collective like this, you should not see the swash tilt at all. It
should stay level at all pitch settings.
