Mechanical Mixing vs. Electronic Mixing.
Mechanical Mixing uses a mechanical device that requires 90 degree levers and linkage to connect the servos to the swashplate.

Electronic Mixing (eCCPM) uses a computer transmitter that is capable of electronically mixing the cyclic and collective pitch together from the transmitter. This allows you to connect the servos directly to the swashplate. CCPM stands for: Collective Cyclic Program Mixing.

The Eco 8 comes with a Mechanical Mixer, and it is possible to set up and fly your Eco 8 using it, however, most people would recommend that you use a computer radio with Electronic mixing. It allows for an easier setup. The biggest problem with the mechanical mixer is that everything must be very smooth (or loose). Unfortunately, most beginners don't know what loose is and have problems setting it up, which can lead to fustration and crashes.
